in august 2019, i got to spend a glorious week backpacking in the wind rivers of wyoming. this painting captures the feeling of following a river up to its source in the mountains, wondering what views the next turn will bring
erin is a watercolor artist based in salt lake city, utah. she is continually inspired by her outdoor adventures, from the mountains of utah and wyoming to the forests of maine and the pacific northwest. her work merges the realistic with the abstract, using bold clouds and detailed landscapes to bring forward the sense of wonder and joy inspired by the natural world.
