"over the rainbow" 7x7" (10x10 framed) oil on wood, named
named after the emilie-claire barlow song (listen in playlist below)
my father grew up on a sheep ranch in central utah. some of my most cherished easter memories are holding the brand new lambs while visiting my grandparents. i can't help but feel at home when i see sheep in our mountain heber valley or abroad like these in the scottish highlands. truly, christ, our redeemer and eternal shepherd has room for all of us no matter where we are. there is always a place in His home for His sheep.
** original oil painting by artist katrina berg, created in her midway utah studio. each piece is created with so much oil paint, using her brushes and palette knives. candy colored oil paint covered in varnish to protect each piece.
