carl and i celebrated our daughter's high school graduation with her in the south of italy the first week of may. wonderful people, food and landscapes everywhere to inspire us and sparked many precious memories. here are the first 5 oil paintings created from this memorable adventure.
as we ate our way through italy, we loved driving through the countryside (yes, even through the smallest of country dirt roads because i wasn't watching the map carefully enough). getting to see the fields and groves up close, the farms and the farm trucks. we better understood the deep love of growing and eating quality food in italy.
** original oil paintings are created in my midway utah studio. each piece is created with so much oil paint, using her brushes and palette knives. candy colored oil paint covered in varnish to protect each piece.
