sunset can paint such beautiful colors and the shadows play with the natural shapes. i look forward to the sunset each night to see what colors it inspires.
painting nature or memories of places brings such a connection to our beautiful world. brekke’s training in photography allows her the ability to create countless reference photos to paint from. inspiration is found in the light and shapes and relationships of nature. building layers on layers of watercolor is a soothing process that comes through in her work. currently living in utah with her husband and three kids, but finding inspiration wherever she is.
