from my vintage women series, a celebration of strong, beautiful women through the ages.

although i am constantly trying to balance motherhood and creating art; art has always been, and always will be apart of me. i am always looking for something that inspires me; a woman holding her child, an old black and white photograph, a gnarly tree, a rugged landscape, or a more traditional photograph.  i love to invent color as I paint, i feel like color brings on different emotions.  i love to analyze faces.  i am living in bountiful, utah with my husband and three daughters.
