watch the video of my paintings...and hear the song the landscape is named after: "see the sun" by dido. this landscape is from my travels to visit my sister outside of manchester and the english peak districk. i was telling another artist friend in england that i could never run out of things to paint in the peak district...my sister maresa and her wife emma live so close that we walked to it last time i was there. maresa took me on a walk through her neighborhood...we picked blackberries, hiked the hills, and saw the views of glossop and its neighboring villages. the light was especially bright that day, transforming the landscape as it spread a warm blanket over the hills, horses, cows, cottages, and pathways.
