dearest collectors pictured above! the husband shared his favorite song, “slow down” by sissel – as we listened together, i was overwhelmed by its beauty but also its deep deep meaning. we made a plan to include his trusty companion and puppy, topper and his favorite breed: appaloosa. i went home & began pondering. i listened in the studio, we listened as we drove to the temple, i shared it with friends and loved ones. as i listened, the holy spirit, our heavenly parents and savior began reminding me of beautiful truths, new thoughts, and some connections that brought so much joy, meaning and immense gratitude....

mcarthur krishna of “the girls who choose god” books as well as the “girls & boys guide to heavenly mother” books (see CANDYcolored studio podcast episodes 82 & 83) is always inviting us to elevate our minds and souls as we truly “become.” she and gallery program director esther candari put their heads together after the latest “heavenly mother” art show at “writ & vision” in provo to create a new art show and experience. mission accomplished ladies!! mcarthur’s beadwork welcomes you to sacred ground throughout the exhibit journey. she invited 11 other artists (including esther and myself) to create work for the show, “doorways to divinity” (a woman’s journey). take the journey in person until november 29th (tues - fri 4 to 8 pm & sat 12 to 8 pm and make appointments to visit the show during the week of thanksgiving). for an online experience, check out the writ & vision show page and link to the full catalog below. in the upstairs gallery, you’ll find a fundraiser for our dearest artist friend mary brickey (episodes 167 & 40) who lost her lower leg in a serious motorcycle accident last week (all proceeds go directly to mary). we love mary, this community and are so grateful for this journey we get to take together. enjoy the show!!
