this is the fourth episode in a series about giving and respecting choice. enjoy hearing the very personal health journey of tricia and her family. she explains the hard work and research she dove into after listening to her heart give her very clear but also seemingly strange instructions. these are truly strange and trying times. i wish i had answers that fit everyone, but it don’t...i think it’s part of our unique journeys. may tricia’s words and experiences give you the courage to ask your own questions and follow your heart.

the first words that come to mind when i’m describing chalene are: joy, optimism, & laughter. chalene is turning 40 next week and we have so many reasons to celebrate this amazing creative and friend. a boy mom full of spunk and fun...she her husband and their 4 boys are always working on an amazing project together. diy projects around the house, entrepreneur ventures, and helping their family & friends. happiest birthday my dear sweet friend. thanks for being you!

being a mother artist, like most passions and paths, is not for the faint of heart. it requires time, commitment, focus, humility, change, invention and reinvention, and help from others. our CANDYclub has been discussing workflow and systems in our studio and homes. we’re hoping to find new solutions to add and strategies that will help us refine our flow. one of our club members who i love and admire admitted that she’s intimidated with the idea of being both an artist and mother. what an honest and familiar thought. i think very few of us feel like we are balancing both beautifully...but i do believe we know deep in our hearts that it’s worth the work to enjoy this parallel journey mothering and creating.

in this second part of the series, we’ll consider ways to live the united order now and explore more ideas to do with learning for ourselves about these topics. we’ll discuss more about marion g. romney’s talk on the differences between socialism and the united order. also, experiences with riots & political unrest as well as propaganda, critical thinking -- learning how to think for ourselves instead of merely thinking the way someone else suggests. next week you’ll hear a special interview with guest and dear friend: julia lowe. can’t wait!
